Brimley Johnson with an introduction by Professor William Lyon Phelps, Ph.D. The Stoneleigh Edition. Limited to 1250 numbered sets. These volumes are copies number 909. Two octavo volumes. Twelve charming color plates by C.E. and H.M. Brock, all with descriptive tissue guards. Bound in three-quarter hunter green crushed morocco over marbled boards ruled in gilt. Backstrip has five raised bands, paneled with gilt tools. Marbled end papers. Rough-trimmed edges with occasional minor tears that must have been caused by an overly eager paper knife. Somewhat rubbed at head & tail, but strong; a few light scratches on backstrip. Overall in VG condition. $150
